Dorota Szczęsna-Formejster – „Thea Bright” – A Candidate with a Clear Vision for Integration and Inclusion
I’m running for the Integration Council to amplify the voices of people with migrant backgrounds—visible, heard, and valued. I’m committed, competent, and solution-focused.

What I Bring to the Table
– Success & Inspiration: German Champion and Vice World Champion in IFBB Fitness—leading by example, showing what’s possible.
– Creativity & Entrepreneurship: Founder of the “MOTYL” music label and brand, and creator of “Teraz Razem,” a platform for migrant women.
– Volunteering & Engagement: Active board member of Förderkreis TuS Wesseling and youth coach—supporting kids and teens, regardless of origin.
– Expertise & Know-How: Administrative legal specialist with a focus on digital marketing—promoting clear, accessible communication.

My Election Program
1. Empowering Women: Building a network for migrant entrepreneurs—offering workshops, mentoring, and visibility.
2. Supporting Youth: Creating inspiring opportunities through music, sports, and digital projects.
3. Sharing Knowledge: Delivering practical and easy-to-understand guidance for newcomers.
4. Amplifying Quiet Voices: Empowering women through self-presentation and body language.
5. Integration Through Connection: Hosting intercultural events with music, sports, and education—for real inclusion, not just bureaucracy.

Why Am I Running?
Because true integration requires active co-creation—not just equal forms, but equal opportunities. I am a migrant, one of you—let’s shape Cologne together.

The election for the Integration Council will take place

on September 14, 2025.

Thank you for your support!

About me

I’m Dorota Szczęsna-Formejster – mother, wife, and a passionate Cologne resident with Polish roots. I’m an independent, non-partisan candidate with a strong stance and diverse background—migrant, legal expert, music producer, athlete, and coach.

For over 17 years, I’ve called Cologne home, living here with my family and dedicating my heart and energy to promoting diversity and inclusion.
As a former elite athlete, a public administration graduate, an independent music producer, and a coach, I’ve learned how much potential lies within each of us—when given the chance.

Twenty years ago, I proudly won a silver medal for Germany at the World Championships—a defining moment in my life. Behind that success stood a diverse, international team of outstanding women athletes who supported and inspired me. I remain deeply grateful for that trust.

I know the challenges of life in Germany as a migrant—and I’ve found ways to overcome them. I’ve walked the path of self-empowerment—and I continue to walk it. My goal is to make that path accessible to others.

What Drives Me
Many of us feel unheard. Despite our hard work, we still face linguistic, bureaucratic, and societal barriers.
That’s why I’m running for the Integration Council. Because I firmly believe we have the right to help shape the future of our city.
I want to empower women, youth, and people from all walks of life to unlock their potential and embrace real opportunities.
I bridge the worlds of law, sports, and culture—because I believe in their power. Music and education, to me, are powerful tools of social integration.
I’m ready to use my experience to advocate for equal opportunities for all residents of Cologne.
As an athlete, I know the value of fair play—not just on the field, but in everyday life.

With gratitude and warm regards, Yours, Dorota
